Native to southern Japan and Taiwan, Fatsia is an evergreen shrub with large leathery, palmately lobed leaves. It produces small creamy-white flowers in dense terminal compound umbels in late autumn or early winter, followed by small black fruit. Will reach 3 - 6 meters in height. Commonly known as Japanese Aralia or False Castor Oil Plant. Will look great in a tropical style garden. Grows well in full sun or shade. Please note a Fatsia a Japonica is toxic to pets.
