Its flowers are very full, fragrant silvery lilac. It has light green glossy leaves and grows vigorous upright and reaches hights of 300cm. Also suitalble as a cut flower for indoor displays. Mainzer Fastnacht has been awarded The Royal Horticultural Society Garden Merit Award as well as Gold Medal Rome. This rose will produce Autumn rose hips if the last flush of flowers are not removed.
