Do you want the good news first or the bad news?

Well lets start off with the bad news and save the best for last.

So the Phormium Cookianum Subsp. ornamental grass got dug up by the squirrels. We planted seeds  earlier last year which were growing well and should of been ready for sale later this year. But now we've lost the whole stock. Even though they had a cover over them, the squirrels still managed to get in. So it looks like we may have to wait until the next season and start the process again.

The good news is to our delight a plant that we thought was dead had actually came to life and was flowering. Sweet box is now thriving and currently in the pipe line to join our collection of plants. We are most excited.

Also behind the scenes today, our garden shed which is our future office / tea room is looking royal worthy and coming along nicely.

Earlier this week our ton bag of compost got delievered outside the garden, therefore we had no choice, but to shovel and wheel-barrow through the rain and slop to bring them in.

We also got going with some frost hardy cuttings, the first this year so far.

And finally we had a good spring clean sorting out the pots ready for the year ahead.

Ps: Kin is afraid of spiders.

How is your doing gardening projects coming along ?

Until next time, happy gardening!
