Frosty February - Work At The Secret Garden
We are currenlty in the process of sprucing up our plants ready for spring. This is a process we go through at least twice a year to keep all of our stocks in tip top shape.
Each plant will be trimmed back of any faded parts, weeds and fallen leaves removed, the pots will then be topped up with fresh compost to keep them looking fine and dandy.
As we litrually have thousands of plants to work through this process is an extremley time consuming task and can take up to four months to complete. We hope our efforts will be appreciated when your new plants arrived at your door thiving in there full glory.
Also today we had to repair our hand made polly tunnel as the windy storms early in the year gave them a sever beating. Kin came to the rescue with a trustworthy staple gun and hammer to put all the pieces back together. Once again its looking as good as new.
We still have about 3 weeks of work to do sorting through the plants. Then its operation tidy up before APHA come round for the annual inspection in April.
Lets hope we can get it all done in time.
