Native to east Asia, including China, Korea, the Philippines and Japan. Also known as a spindle tree as the wood was traditionally used for making spindles for spinning wool. Eunymus Emerald Gaiety is a low spreading evergreen shrub with yellow rimmed leaves that turn slightly pink during the summer. Will grow up to 75cm tall and 1.5m wide. Euonymus Fortunei 'Emerald 'n' Gold' has received The Royal Horticultural Award Of Great Merit note this plant is toxic to humans and pets if consumed.
