Native to South Africa and Zimbabwe it is a semi evergreen herbaceous perennial growing up to 60 cm tall with bright pink red simple flowers. Flowering from late summer to Autumn. Hesperanthera Coccinea is part of the Iris family. Dead head to prolong flowers and cut back stems once they have faded. Water well. Please note this plant is toxic to pets. propagate by division.
