A popular choice for the winter garden and all year around interest. Also known as English Holly or Common Holly. Can grow up to 12 meters high and 8 meters wide. Holly Ilex produces dark green spiked leaves with small white flowers in spring and summer followed by red berries in Autumn and Winter. Will attract birds. Cut branches can be used as part of a Christmas display in the home. Please note the leaves have sharp edges and the berries are toxic to humans, cats and dogs.
