Bred for UK conditions this veriaty will produce early spring flowers follwed with super sweet glossy red strawberries from mid May through to summer. Stawberry plants are frost hardy evergreen / perennials plants, that usually spread across the ground by layering its long runner stems. Grows well in a sunny position in well drained soil. Apply a thick layer of straw or mats to keep strawberries off the soil.

To care for your new strawberry plant, keep the slugs off your strawberries by growing them in a pot off the ground. For strawberries growing on the ground add sharp sand to the soil and around the plant. Keep your plant well watered throughtout the dry season. Add pottasium fertiliser or soil improver during the flowering season. To propagate allow the shoots to reach a fresh pot of soil. Use a paper clip or rock to hold the shoot in place while the new roots develope. Once the new shoot is growing comfortably you can cut the cord.
