A bushy deciduous flowering shrub, that grows from 90 cm - 130 cm tall with dainty pink, pretty pendulous teardrop flowers that bloom from Summer - Autumn. The leaves are aristate shaped with spiny sharp points, and the pendulous flowers are bright pink with lifted outer petals and a dark purple under skirt. Grows well in most soil types in full sun or part shade. Fuchsia is an easy plant to grow, and a good choice for beginner gardeners. Young fuchsia plants should be protected from the frost. To propagate take a pencil width hard wood cutting from the base of the plant from Spring - early Autumn. This plant is safe around pets.

To maintain your fuchsia plant it may need to be pruned twice a year to keep in shape.
