Top tip: Before you set up your new flower bed, use the planter to mark out the new area you wish to place it by using a half mood shovel to cut into the soil to draw out the outline. Remove old growth such as grass or ground cover plants, and ensure your surface is flat. Add a layer of cardboard to the base of the flower bed to prevent old weeds shooting through before you add your compost.
