Claire Austin bred by David Austin is a vigorous upright climbing rose shrub, with pale lemon buds open to creamy white flowers. The rose has a strong myrrh and vanilla fragrance and has matt green foliage and red prickles. Will grow up to 12ft tall. cut deadheads back and prune hard in early spring.

Claire Austin Rambling Rose will look great in flower beds, borders or as a wall/fence covering plant. Also will does well over archways, trellis and obelisks. Grows in a sunny position or part shade. Can grow outdoors or indoors.
To keep your plant healthy it will requrie regular deadheading throughout the flowering season and any faded or spotted leaves should be removed. Fresh multch should be added twice a year to keep leaves healthy. This plant will also need hard prooning early spring and shaping throughout the growing season. If you are planting next to wall or fence, allow at least a 12inch gap for space for the roots to grow. If planting in a pot you will need a deep pot for the roots.
