Top tip: When choosing plants for pots you should have a combination of 3 in each pot providing there is space. A thriller, the main plant. A filler, a gap filling plant and a spiller, a trailing plant which hangs over the edge.
Tip: When using real plants add some gravel or hardcore to the base of the pot to prevent the soil becoming water clogged, then add the soil and finish with a a layer of decorative gravel or bark to cover the soil for a stylish finish. Also refresh the soil once a year to keep your plants healthy. Water regularly.
