Also known as the orange ball tree, orange ball buddlejia, matico and butterfly bush. A semi evergreen shrub with lanceolate leaves and sweet scented bright orange - yellow flowers that bloom in summer. Buddleja Glabosa will grow up to 5 meters tall and will attract butterflies and bees. It is easy to grow and will thrive in a sunny or shady area. Prune back lightly after flowers have faded. The Royal Horticultural Society has added this plant to the list of Plants For Pollinators. It has also been awarded with a Royal Horticultural Society Gold Merit Award. Meaning it is a reliable plant. Please note that Glabosa Orange ball grows slower than other buddlejia varieties.
