Frost Hardy Rhizomes Flowering Perennial
Flowering: May - June
Height: Up to 70 cm
2 Litre Pot
Grows well in a sunny or part shade position in flower beds, borders, pots, rockeries or as pond plant.
To care for your Iris plant in shallow soil and keep the soil moist do not let it dry out. To help prevent the soil from dyring out in flower beds or borders, add a layer of mulch around the plant stems. Once the flowers begin to fade cut back any brown stems. To prevent overcrowding and maintain robust blooms, divide clumps every 2 to 3 years. The best time to dig up and separate the rhizomes is in late summer to early autumn. Discard the older, woody rhizomes and replant the smaller, fresh ones that have new green growth point.
