RHS Award winning ground cover plant - Clumping herbaceous perennial - Medicinal herb
A clumping herbaceous perennial native to Southern Europe. Grown as an ornamental plant from Spring until Autumn. Usually found in woodlands. Appreciated for the way its wide palmate leaves veined, with a scalloped and serrated margin holds water droplets after the rain. Small yellow bushy flowers come into bloom from June to September Ladys mantle makes a great ground cover or gap filling plant. The flowers will self seed.
The plant can be used as a herbal tea or for medicinal purposes. The flowers can be cut for flower arrangements and bouquets. Grows up to 45 cm tall. Prune back regularly throughout the growing season to keep your plant tidy. Alchemilla Mollis has received The Royal Horticulture Society Gold Merit Award.
