Flowering Evergreen perennial - Long flowering season - Easy to grow
A stunning choice for shaded borders, woodland gardens, and beneath trees where it spreads as a low-growing carpet. Perfect for softening edges along pathways and disguising bare patches on banks or slopes.
Plant in partial to full shade with well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. Space plants 30-45cm apart to allow room for spreading. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish strong roots, then reduce watering as the plant matures — it's quite drought-tolerant once established. Please note Vinca Minor Atropurepurea is toxic to pets including dogs, cats and horses if consumed.
Frost hardy, evergreen flwowering ground cover plant
Flowers: May - October
Height; Comes up to 10cm tall
1.5 Litre pot
Grows well in full sun or part shade. Will look great in pots, boarders, flower beds and rockeries.
Minimal maintenance required. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage longer blooming and a tidier appearance. Trim back lightly in early spring to maintain shape and remove any damaged growth. Mulch around plants to suppress weeds and retain moisture. This hardy perennial needs little fussing and rewards you with reliable colour from late spring right through to autumn, making it an excellent low-effort ground cover for busy gardeners.
