Today we welcomed Kin to join the Garden City Cymru Team
After years of supporting the Garden City Cymru business our good friend Kin finally made the move from London to South Wales as a new chapter in his life. He has now officially joined our team at the secret garden.
We're very excited to have him onboard as a strong team member. He is a passionate gardener with years of experience and expertise in the gardening world.
He is also an extremely motivated individual with the get and go energy we like to see.
Today was the first day he came to work with us as an official team member. And so far so good. Apart from his poor choice in music he had playing during the day. Cheesy 80's pop music was a bit an ear sore. I mean come on that included songs like Ghosbusters and vengerboys. But we shouldn't complain too much we had a very productive day together, potting up the most urgent spring bulbs ready for next year and we managed to add some extra support to our summer house, we built earlier in the year.
What started off as a gushy windy day turned into a lovely sunny afternoon.
We've also been making plans for a long overdue vegetable patch in the shady area, which is not really suitable for our selling plants to grow but should be fine for edibles. It gets some afternoon sun. What do you think guys? Any suggestions for shade loving veggies we can grow? We'd love to hear your ideas.
Until next time happy Gardening!
