Also known as Rose multiflora, Seven sister rose, Baby Rose and Japanese Rose. Native to China, Asia, Japan and Korea. A wild Rambling Rose that can reach heights of 5 meters. Mulitflora is grown as an ornamental plant that produces dark green abtuse serrating leaves and an abundance of small white flowers during summer followed with rose hips in Autumn. The rose hips are edible and can be eaten raw, like berries, if care is taken to avoid the hairs inside the fruit. The hairs are used as itching powder. Multiflora plant is considered excellent fodder for goats. Please note this plant is prickly.
