Native from South America, Escallonia is a reliable flowering shrub with flowers that bloom from June to October. Escallonia produce masses of small pink trumpet shaped flowers, sometimes with a honey fragrance. They are best grown in full sun, with some shelter from the wind. Easy to grow and will look great in flower beds, pots, rockeries and as hedging plants. Will attract birds, bees and other pollinating insects. Grows up to 2.5 meters high. Escalloni Donart Radiance has received the Royal Horticultural Award Of Great Merit. Meaning it is a reliable plant and resistant to disease.

Whilst I’m sure this is a good company, I have yet to see the trees that I purchased as when they arrived they weren’t quite packaged well enough meaning that one of the trees had fallen out through the base of the box and the delivery driver then thought it was better to turn the box upside down although it clearly stated “this way up”.
Having complained to the Garden City Cymre of a failed delivery five days ago I have not received the courtesy of a reply and so have sent a second email and still no reply
Hi Gareth, we do apologies for the late responce with your quiry by email, however on this occasion we do hope you feel your order was dealt with appropriately after we drove the plants to your home after two failed attempts with two different delivery companies. We do our best to package our plants as safely as possible, but it seems that the best care is not always guaranteed with some delivery firms, which is out of our control and of huge disapointment for both of us. I ordered these Escallonia Donard Radiance from Garden City received it very quickly the packaging was good so there no way of the soil coming out of the pot during transit.
(They look so beautiful in my Garden now )
