Also known as stonecrops. Sedum Herbstfreude is an easy to grow succulent flower that blooms in Autumn. Sedum Autumn Joy  Herbsfreude is a hybrid plant that has elliptic serrate light green edible rubbery leaves grown on tall stems reaching 45 cm. The flowers grow green initially then turn red as they ripen. The Autumn flowers will attract the bees and butterflies. 

Cut the plant back in winter once the flowers have faded.  To propagate take leave cuttings and stem cutting from a well established plant and place in the soil. Roots will develop quickly. Add mulch in the spring. Grows well in full sun.
